Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade welcomed a baby girl on Wednesday, November 7, via surrogate. The actress shared the happy news on social media last night, with sweet photos of her and Wade cradling their new addition. This marks the couple’s first child together. The baby’s name hasn’t been announced yet.

“A lovely day. We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the loveliest of all the lovely days. Welcome to the party sweet girl!” Union wrote in a message on Twitter

This marks Union’s first child and Wade’s fourth, following his three sons Zaire, Zavier and Zion from previous relationships. The actress has taken care of them like her own children.

“It was an unexpected gift but probably the biggest thing that changed me,” she told newsmen of her relationship with her stepsons.

Union also opened up about her struggle to have a baby in her book, We’re Going to Need More Wine, which was published last year.

“I have had eight or nine miscarriages,” she wrote. “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant — I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”

Congrats to new parents
